Op woensdag 4 november was het weer zover. Ik was nu 1 jaar “officieel” volwassen, met andere woorden: 19 jaar geleden floepte ik om 18.30 een aantal weken te vroeg uit me moeders buik. Ze vertelden me altijd dat het sneeuwde toen ik geboren werd. Daar was dit jaar niks van te zien net zoals alle voorgaande jaren die ik mij kon herinneren.  (more…)

A lot of things happened this week. I had to finish my project. I had to linejudge at the Dutch Open and last but not least I had a propedeuse ceremony.
I told you before my holiday I finished my first year of my study. This is important in the Netherlands because you will get a propedeuse. If you didn’t finish your first year in two years than you should stop with your study.
A few days before the Dutch Open began I heard that I would have a propedeuse ceremony on Thursday 15 October. But I had to linejudge and I had an important appointment on this day. I cancelled my appointment, but I couldn’t cancel Dutch Open of course. (more…)

A friend of Italy came last week to the Netherlands. He asked me to be his guide and I didn’t know actually what I could show him. He wanted to see Amsterdam, of course. But what could I show in Amsterdam. I’ve never been there as a tourist, sometimes for a schooltrip or sometimes for shopping.
I looked on the internet and I search some places. He also helped me to say what he really wanted to see. After 2 weeks surfing on the internet, looking for pictures when I was young, I found some places. We didn’t visit them all, but I will tell you the most important places to visit as a tourist. I added a post almost a month ago. So it’s time for a new one.
A lot of things happened last week.

I had holiday, but I wasn’t celebrating my holiday. I studied a lot because I want to get my propedeuse (which is very important for my study) at once without any re-examination. The subject I studied, consumor behaviour, was very difficult because the book was in English. That’s why it takes so long to study the chapters. I was losing my concentration all the time and I studied sometimes four hours for one chapter. (more…)

I was born in the Netherlands, but my parents and brother were born in Iran. Most of you know that I love to go there to celebrate my holiday. My whole family lives there. I love the culture and since I can remember there are two special days in Iran.This week had a special day. On March 21, the spring has begun and the Iranian people celebrated their new year.
The new year is called ‘Nowruz’ which means a new day. (more…)

It has frozen last week and my brother asked me to come iceskating. I was learning for my tests, but I really needed rest.
And I couldn’t disagree because it was twelve years ago the ditches were frozen.
