My life, my passion, my story
1 Jan
Okay I might be crazy to write this at this time (01-01-2010, 01.30), but it’s the best moment to do this! Time is flying and a lot of things happened in 2009! For example, I decided to get my driving licence. Unfortunately, I still don’t have it. And I got my propedeuse in once. I will share with you the ups and the downs of 2009:
January: I don’t know how, but I passed all my exams in once. It is special because I was one of the two students in my class (of 30 students) who passed them in once. A special thing happened in January. Me and my brother were skating on (natural) ice for the first time in 12 years. Another special thing happened also. I decided to start practising for my drivinglicence. Yeah, I know I still am practising. But I knew from the beginning it wouldn’t be easy for me. Driving wasn’t an easy thing for me (but it’s now).
I finished January with one of my favourite tournament as a linejudge: Dutch Championship.
February: This was a good month for me. I passed my driving theory exam. I think 2009 wasn’t a good year for the airplanes. I still remember the Thursday that I went with a friend to Zwanenburg to see the airplane crash of Turkish Airline.
March: Happy newyear! What happy new year in March? Yeah, My roots are from Iran and their new year begins always on 21 March. I celebrated this time with a good friend, Marc, on the beach.
April: Okay, I can’t deny. This was the most weirdest month of 2009. Why? Because I went 12 days to Milan to linejudge at the European Junior Championship. It was weird because I missed my mom’s birthday for the first time. Secondly, it was 12 days without someone of my family. And last but not least, I went without my mom and brother in an airplane. I know what you’re thinking. But I’m scared in the airplane, especially after an airplane crash. My experience? It was AWESOME!
The second weird thing happened, was the terrorist attack on Queensday. I’ll never forget that day anymore.
May: I didn’t do anything in this month except studying, studying and studying. I had a part of my last exams in May and a part in the first week of June.
June: I studied hard and I made my last exams. YES! I passed them all in once. So I started celebrating my holiday. Me, my mom and my brother were going to Iran, but because of the protest we wasn’t sure anymore.
I celebrated a day in the swimmingpool with Cynthia, while the other students were making their resits. I decided also this month to choose “another” study. Well, it isn’t another study, but it’s in another building.
July: This supposed to be a very good month, but a lot of bad things happened also. First of all, my brother fell of his motorbike during the lesson. Luckily, he didn’t break anything. Secondly, I went to the hairdresser. I changed my hair style after a ver long time. Thirdly, a good friend of my, Federico, came from Italy to see the Netherlands. We went a day to Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans. We swam a day in Center Parcs, unfortunately I was ill.
Fourthly, I said I was ill. It started with a cold and I had a fever soon. Maybe the swine flu? I couldn’t eat anymore and sometimes I couldn’t even breath. After 3 months I was being better and I could eat normal again. I lost a lot of weight. Last but not least, me and my mom went to Iran. Unfortunately, my brother couldn’t go with us because his conscription. I celebrated a wedding of a good friend in the first few days.
August: I still was in Iran with my mom. The funniest thing was that my mom drove some days in Mashad. We were visiting a lot of families and relatives. At the end of August, I started with a new year at college. I think this is the highest peak in 2009. I told you I changed the “study”. I like my new study and I like my class. This is what I thought about studying!
September: A new season begon. I started with playing badmintonmatches and I also started with linejudging this month.
October: This was a special month. Firstly, I waited for one of the biggest international badminton tournaments of the Netherlands, the Dutch Open. Secondly, I had my Propedeuse ceremony. Finally, I made my exams very well. I don’t think it could be better!
November: Whoehoew, I turned 19. It was my birthday on November the 4th. I had my drivingexam a day after my birthday. Unfortunately, I didn’t pass the exam. I made to many faults.
I had birthdayparty with some friends. Thank you all for a nice eve/night!
December: The last month of 2009. It was my last time to pass my drivingexam before 2010 will start. Unfortunately, I didn’t pass it again. I was too slow in the beginning this time. The next day I went to Dublin. I was invited to linejudge at the Irish International. I wasn’t lucky again. I was ill, so I couldn’t linejudge at my best.
December ended soon and it was time for a new year, new start and new wishes.
My wishes?
I wish you all a happy 2010!
